Contract

CONTRACT:

Rotating Full 3D character model ( Concept   to    Full Render )

I will develop an original character from the scratch from early character development to complete render in Maya 2014. - (animated a little - if time permits)

CONCEPT:

creating characters (2-3) with their own backstory and look, and posing them in a way that tells you about these characters just by looking at them.

Creating a unique character that is tailored to my Artistic style is what will be important. I want to create a character that will radiate my own style and feel - something that embodies my work as a whole in character form.

GOAL AND KNOWLEDGE:

After I graduate I want to eventually work in video game development, working on animation or character animation. dedicating my time in this studio would be a perfect opportunity to further my understanding of the programs and take my modeling skills to the next level.

I have enough knowledge of Maya and Zbrush to research and further develop my skills in these programs. and with new programs such as Mudbox 2014 I believe with enough time and motivation I can model a truly unique character that radiates me as an artist.

DISPLAY:

After rendered I would want to display my model on an HDTV. on a circular loop going around the model (and if animated, if i choose to Rig and Animate it)

I would not mind displaying around the HDTV concept sketches, ideas, studies, and thoughts that were involved in developing my character.

Artist Summary

Of all the forms of my art, drawing is where I find myself having the most fun. I have more freedom there, more control, more expression, more to say. 3D modeling and design is what I would like to just fall in love with. When I get in the flow with Maya, it feels good. I love that feeling of creating something virtually physical that you can rotate, scale, move, shape - its awesome.

most of my subject matter deals with scale, identity, power, emotion, social commentary. I kind of just start drawing something, and figure out the meaning behind it as I work. I like working that way, and I feel like it helps with the outcome of most of my pieces because that its that ambiguity in my art pieces that I want others to experience.

I like art that says something, without telling you exactly what that thing is.
its this type of idea that continually makes me try to form, shape and develop my art.
